How can you secure your dog from disruptive sounds? How do you create high fidelity sounds for DS/CC? What’s happening with ultrasound? Discover!

In July 2019, I gave a live webinar on dogs and sound to a sold-out crowd through Linda Case’s The Science Dog. In June 2024, I presented an upgraded variation, translated live to the German training organization IBH. Practicing the upgraded discussion provided me the chance to record it for future audiences.

I am pleased to reveal that my tape-recorded webinar Noise Decisions: Helping Your Canine Handle a Noisy Human Being World is again readily available for purchase.

Not only that, but I have reduced the cost for my other sound webinar: Listen Up: An Evidence-Based Assessment of Sound Products for Canines. And I have actually created a “bundle” where you can buy them both for a further discount rate.

I truly desire this info to get to fitness instructors and the public, so the costs are super low.

About the Webinars

This topic is primarily unknown in the pet training community. Misinformation abounds.

There are a lot of elements of the physics of sound we require to understand about for successful dog training and management. Trainers require to comprehend basics about sound science to perform desensitization and counterconditioning effectively with client pets. They need to be notified about the science of noise to aid with management solutions. They require to be able to recognize fake items and claims.

Trainers and animal owners alike frequently search for methods to protect their pets from irritating sounds. A lot of the options commonly offered for these problems are not supported by proof.

We need to approach noise with the same clinical rigor that we do habits science. I’m uniquely qualified on the subject. I have a master’s degree in music from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and a master’s degree in used science (acoustics) from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. My research and thesis were on active sound control.

You can check out the descriptions of the two webinars on my store website, however in short:

  • Noise Choices focuses on the ways we can assist our dogs who are sensitive to sound. It’s about 60 minutes long.
  • Listen Up focuses on products consisting of ultrasonic toys, ultrasonic punishment gadgets, music for relaxation, barriers to sound such as earmuff-type items, and more. It includes demonstrations of what truly comes out of some of the ultrasonic toys and aversive gadgets. It’s about 90 minutes long.

Both cover a great deal of ground!

Both webinars have guaranteed gain access to for a minimum of a year your enrollment date, and probably a lot longer.
